From Fredricks of Hollywood to the iconic Victoria Secret, and all those shops that kept these wraps stashed out of sight of young eyes, they gave women of that time a choice of gentle fabrics, daring undies, and overall clothes to intice and invite. Just a bit of fashion from the era when candles were lit, wine was poured, and the promise of a passionate evening might be at hand.
